EP News and Upcoming Gigs

Emotional Arsonist will be playing alongside Kerouac and Aggro Culture at this event we hope to see you all there(wait , does anyone read this?)

More to be told but we have booked some time in a studio for october ,four tracks will be laid down for an EP of sorts , more details and steaming entrails to follow.

Upcoming Gigs and Emergenza

A heartily congradulations to Kerouac who are the winners of the Irish leg of the Emergenza festival and will go on to represent Ireland in the Taubertal Festival in Germany.

Focusing on ourselves , we have an upcoming gig in Fibbers , date TBA and we are trying to land a gig in a well known "G" word nightclub. A few hints , it may be named after a Sisters of Mercy song and Its the only one in Dublin! . More rants and bitterness to follow

The Final leg of the Emergenza festival is in the Village , Nine bands shall enter with dreams of Deutchland and immortalised glory , yet only one shall leave.

If you are in Dublin on the 17th of July there is a lot worse you could do with your time . So why not come to the Village and see us live?

New site , new era.

To all the faithful and observant it should be apparent that EA has been going through a few changes

Ghost is gone , leaving only a lingering scent of menthol cigarettes and burnt roses; Also the UK tour is behind us and we have a shedload of new songs. Amongst the terrors stalking the practice dungeon is "Screaming Eyes",where Mr. K. takes on some light percussive duties. At its first live performance , at the first round into the Emergenza festival , Mr K was compared , visually , to the physical motion of Hunter S Thompson crossed with the visual aesthethic of Kain (vis command and conqueor)

Its a great blasting song , suitable to fire the blood and pass the ammunition , apocalyptic , brooding and aggressive , a great compliment to some of the slower material.

Emergenza

On the subject of the Emergenza Festival, EA have kicked through the first gig in Whelans and are now through to the second round , as The Empire remarked , next door , at the Village , If we should triumph , by the will of our own , it's in front of the technical jury and then off to Deutchland

Whats with this new site then?

This is the third (or fourth , whos counting anyway!?) incarnation of the EA website , Content will be added slowly so some sections may be a little ...sparse. Not to worry though , Wasp , The Empire , Mr K and Crypt would haul instruments and amps through the great barrier reef for a gig so a site should provide no difficulties.
